Allyson Robison is a digital marketing and communications consultant. In her “spare” time, she is also a mom/wife/Christian/wine-enthusiast/gardener/traveler and anything else that comes along.

On this blog, Allyson seeks to share information about digital marketing and communications with small- and medium-sized businesses, non-profits and anyone else interested in the topic. As you read this blog, you’ll not only receive Allyson’s experienced views on a variety of digital marketing topics, as well as great resources she has come across through her daily activities. Also, from time-to-time, she may sprinkle in random stories and thoughts about the other aspects of her life.

Brief Biography

After spending seven years in community and economic development, in roles from general assistant to communications coordinator, Allyson started her own consulting firm with the goal of helping small businesses and organizations better maintain their websites, execute email newsletters and get found in search results. Within just a few months, Allyson was catapulted into the full-fledged world of digital marketing, from website design/development and search engine optimization to email and social media marketing. Soon after, however, Allyson was hired at the Fresno Convention and Visitors Bureau to aid in the development of the digital marketing efforts.  This past April, Allyson made the move back to consulting.

In her “spare time,” Allyson is mom to two-year-old Abigail (not to mention two dogs and two cats which makes for quite an entertaining household). Allyson and her husband live in near Madera, California, right behind her parents and their farm. This means that Allyson also has had plenty of fun (and not so fun) experience with cows (we still have ‘em), snakes and spiders, flooding and the many joys that go along with living out in the country.

Perhaps most importantly, Allyson is also a practicing Christian, albeit a rather new one (four years now). As such, her faith permeates daily life and will oftentimes play a role in her work and wisdom (??).  If you are uncomfortable or disagree, you are entitled to your opinions, as we all are.  She hopes that this will not discourage you from continuing to learn from the information presented on this blog.
